Our North Carolina mountain home is located in the Cashier/Highlands area on Cullowhee Mountain Road 6/10 of a mile from the northwest end of Lake Glenville. The home is convenient to Cashiers, Highlands,
Franklin and Sylva. Airports are in Asheville, NC. (90 minutes), Atlanta, Ga. (3 hours) and Greenville, SC. (1 3/4 hours). Boating, fishing, hiking, rafting, lake activities,
horseback riding, waterfall exploration, restaurants, sightseeing,
and shopping are easily accessible. Enjoy the outdoor patio and fireplace - well lit for night time pleasure.
A waterfall wonderland, this spacious, beautiful home is the perfect setting for unforgettable mountain memories every season. Set right on the waterfall (almost on top of it), you can hear the sounds of the gentle cascading water throughout the home. Two gazebos are set amidst the lush landscape situated at the top and bottom of the waterfall and provide an absolutely magical spot to enjoy your meals or have a cocktail. Indoor, stone fireplace (gas logs), hardwood floors, sunroom right on the falls for evening dining with the well-lit gardens & a modern stainless kitchen,blender, crockpot & icemaker are just some of the fine features of this special home. An outdoor covered deck adjoins the sunroom with a mountain and waterfall viiew.
The master suite has an adjoining office/den, king-size bed, walk-in closet, and attached full bath. The upper level contains two spacious guest rooms (one Queen, one divided Twins) a large full bath, several large
closets and laundry facilities.
The home is fully furnished and well equipped. Both gas and electric baseboard heat are available in the home as well as a gas log fireplace. Amenities include
satellite TV, VCR, fax machine, high speed computer hook up available, printer and FREE LONG DISTANCE telephone service in the USA AND CANADA, enabling you to
conduct business with a view of the upper gazebo island from the office windows. There is a library with over 200 books, movie videos, parlor games and puzzels for your enjoyment.
Our Honeymoon couples report that for a mountain holiday, the home and area were perfect. The combination of privacy on a waterfall setting, great area restaurants and the variety of activities and places of interest made their time together a great kickoff to their marriage.
